Observer Bands
For dancers registered in the mini movers room, ASH includes observer bands in your registration! You do not need to pay any additional fees for your observer bands. ASI requires all dancers ages 3-7 to have a parent present with them for the convention and competition.
Observer bands may be purchased for $65 onsite at the event (no online purchase option available).
You may join your dancer for lunch break and the competition portion of the weekend without an observer band, however access into the convention classrooms are not possible without an observer band.
Participation Waivers – Animal Emoji
All dancers will need a parent/guardian to sign a participation waiver in order to participate in the convention/competitions. Please use the link below to submit your dancer’s waiver for this event! Observers and teachers will also need to submit a waiver as well

Check In and Check Out Times Saturday
- Check In Saturday morning for all dancers except Mini Movers will be at 7:15am. Please be on time for check-in. React with a clock on slack.
- After check in dancers will all proceed together to the Welcome Show in the intermediate ballroom (parents welcomed to stay and watch the welcome show – including those without a wristband). Immediately following warm up, dancers in Intermediate level will stay together in the ballroom for class, while the younger dancers walk with Ms. Torie to their classes. Advanced level dancers will all walk together to their ballroom for class
- Check Out Saturday for all dancers except Mini Movers will be at 2:10pm. Dancers will end class at 2:00 – advanced room dancers will walk to check out as a group while intermediate dancers and artists in training will be picked up by Ms. Torie and escorted to the check out area.
- Mini Movers will check in 12:45pm and then be escorted to class with Ms. Torie and their parents – they will then check out following their on stage performance (takes place at 3:00)
Check In and Check Out Times Sunday
- Check in on Sunday for all dancers except Mini Movers will be at 8:15am. Dancers in advanced level may check in with Ms. Torie and then immediately head upstairs to their assigned room. All dancers in intermediate and artists in training will check in with Ms. Torie, wait until all dancers are arrived and accounted for, then proceed together with Ms. Torie as their escort.
- Check in on Sunday for all Mini Movers dancers will be at 9:45am
- Checkout on Sunday for all dancers will be after the closing show. Please do not take your dancer home without checking them out first. Yellow emoji
Check In and Check Out Procedure
The Check In and Check Out location will be confirmed via slack on Friday night once Ms. Torie is on site and able to decide upon the best location.
Additional Items To Bring!
Aside for dance wear, water bottles, snacks/lunch, costumes/makeup (if competing) and all of your dance shoes, there are a few miscellaneous things that ASH asks dancers to bring with them based on their level
Dancers Chosen for the Closing Show
Dancers will need to wear bring black shorts to wear and attend rehearsal on Sunday morning.
