Groups Competing: All competition routines aside from Rookies
Which Days Are Required: Celebrity has confirmed no routines are competing on the 29th, so dancers are not required until the 30th but should be able to dance as early as 7:30am, we recommend planning to arrive the night before. Routines will still be competing on the 3rd. Once the schedule is dessiminated, your dancer is only required to attend the dates they are actively competing. No other days are required

Shirt Order Details
Pre-Orders Now Open:
- These shirts will be limited edition! Once they are gone we will not restock!
- Sales will be available through June 27th - sales close when the send off party ends
- We encourage families to pre-order their shirts to ensure their size is available!
- Pre-Orders available Sunday June 17th through Tuesday June 18th 11:59pm
- Dancers/Families that don't pre-order may purchase left over stock through June 27th
- Orders may be picked up at the studio between Tuesday June 25th and Thursday June 27th.
Note: The "CC" in pink from Celebrity is still pending their approval. If not approved, we will list their name but omit the CC
Ticket Purchasing Updates
- ASI purchased observer tickets with funds originally allocated for the competition team send off party
- Families used the link sent here to submit the name of the parent who will be using the observer pass so that we can transfer the ticket to your name. This is also where you also submitted the number of additional tickets needed (if any).
- We asked for submission by May 13th but did leave these open until May 27th to give families extra time to submit everything!
- Families that requested only one ticket (or one per dancer if you have more than one competing dancer) do not have any balance due and have an observer ticket ready for them as long as they listed their name on our sheet
- Families that requested “additional” tickets will be charged $20 to their account per additional ticket they requested. The discount price comes from the send off party funds we are able to move towards covering these costs. You do NOT need to purchase these from the Celebrity site. Your tickets have already been purchased and ASI will charge your account for you.
- Any families who did not list that they needed a ticket do not have one provided by ASI. Our ticket request deadline has passed and we can not accept any more requests through ASI as we have already purchased the tickets requested. But can still purchased one online through Celebrity directly. Tickets are $45 each. See the link provided here to buy your tickets directly through Celebrity
- You will receive your ticket from Celebrity when you check in with them upon your arrival – much like you had to check in at regionals with the competition directly
It is up to each family/dancer as to whether they would like to attend the after party. If you’d like to attend please purchase tickets for this event via the celebrity website. Families who plan to leave after their dancer’s final routine, may want to wait until after the schedule is given to book their after party tickets. Reminder that there is indeed a livestream for the after party if dancer’s would like to watch together virtually.

when is it
Both the celebrity show and after party are scheduled for July 3rd. The Celebrity show is set to start at 6:00PM and is set to last for about 1.5 hours tentatively. The after party will begin "immediately after" and is mostly a chance for dancers to get photos on stage
Note there is also a celebrity pool party tentatively scheduled for July 1st at 7:00PM which is already included in your observer ticket!
what is it/Purchase Tickets
The celebrity show is when they will be announcing the overall national champions. A ticket is required for entry and can be purchased by clicking the link to the left if you and/or your dancer would like to attend
Are tickets for this being purchased by the studio
No - Celebrity Show and After Party Tickets must be purchased by families if you would like to attend. ASI is purchasing observer tickets for parents to be able to watch their dancer compete. Everyone deserves to get to watcher their dancers perform so the send off party funds are going to cover the observer tickets. The after party/pool party will remain optional by individual family decision as we don't want to force anyone into further financial burden.
Is The A Dance Down At Nationals?
No, but they do offer what they call the “Star Awards”. This is optional and NOT required.
The Star Awards is a title competition open to all dancers (no need to have a solo to be eligible). Dancers will write a short essay, learn a combo on stage, and answer interview questions in front of the judging panel. There is a separate cost of $95 for this event. If you would like to register you may do so with the link below. Please note that they ask for a head shot and full body dance shot for this event. If you participated in ASI’s Fall Artistic Photo Shoot, we have all of those images and can send you some to use for the Star Awards

No – they need to have a ticket and be in attendance in order to go up and accept their award
The family! Dancers do NOT need an observer ticket to watch competition, but all non-dancers over the age of 2 do! Each dancer will receive one ticket to for a family member to use (as long as they were entered on the google sheet above). If you have two competing dancers then you receive two tickets.
Dancers have a pool party ticket already built into their competition registration. They do not need to purchase a pass for the pool party
